Parent Coaching and Phone Support Parent more consciously — using your own personal values as a base, find better connection with, and better behavior from, your children. Solve day-to-day discipline issues, increase connection and decrease anger with your children. Refine your parenting philosophy according to your values and beliefs. Lisa will help you become the parent you want to be! Lisa provides one-on-one empathic parenting support and coaching for parents by phone. These sessions provide support, insights into parenting challenges, and learning and expanding on solutions. With parent coaching you will: · Receive empathy and understanding from another parent · Find a method of parenting that is consistent with your own personal beliefs and values · Brainstorm solutions and tools for discipline and parenting issues · Parent more consciously and less reactively · Increase connection in your relationship with your children Lisa offers a free introductory session which lasts approximately ½ hour and helps clarify your goals and determine whether it’s a good fit. Each session lasts 45-60 minutes. 1/2 hour follow-up sessions are also available to existing clients on a limited basis.
Lisa is trained in Life Coaching through Coaches Training Institute and in Teaching Positive Discipline through the Positive Discipline Association. (Read More About Lisa)

Costs / Sliding Fees All of my work uses an option where clients can choose what they can afford (within a specified range). I do not want money to be the deciding factor for anyone who cannot afford my services. I’m more than happy to consider barter or other ways of reducing the cost. If you simply cannot afford to pay within the specified range, please contact me directly; I try hard not to turn anyone away due to lack of funds.
My standard rate for coaching is $50 per 50-minute session (includes preparation time and email follow-up) with an honor-based sliding fee of $50-$35. You may choose your payment level according to what you can afford to contribute at that time. I offer a discount for scheduling 3 sessions a month and paying in advance.
Email Support A colleague and I moderate an email support group to provide non-punitive discipline support, especially as it relates to Attachment Parenting. Go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AP-Discipline, or join here: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AP-Discipline/join I provide free limited email support to existing coaching clients. Otherwise, I do not answer parenting questions that are sent privately except on a special-case basis. However, I strongly encourage you to schedule a FREE sample session in which you can get some answers. There is no commitment required.
